Judgment: Criticism
Distracts us from where God wants us to
be and look. Inferiority
When we judge others, it means we have
something out of balance within.
When we judge, we are placing the
person and ourselves in the hands of God for judgment.
Thus the thing we judge, the Lord will cause us to go
through ourselves to see if we also will
pass the test.
John 5:22
For the Father judgeth no man,
but hath committed all judgment unto the Son:
KJV
All this comes from the Tree of Good
and Evil. We are not equipped to judge judiciously.
We can judge an action, but we can’t judge the
reason for the action or the person. Only God knows the
conditions and can make a just judgment.
When we judge, we make them what we
want instead of trusting God in what He has made.

Isaiah 11: 1-16
1 And there shall come forth a rod out
of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his
roots:
2 And the spirit of the LORD shall rest
upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit
of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the
fear of the LORD;
3 And shall make him of quick
understanding in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not
judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the
hearing of his ears:
4 But with righteousness shall he judge
the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth:
and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and
with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.
5 And righteousness shall be the girdle
of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins.
6 The wolf also shall dwell with the
lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the
calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a
little child shall lead them.
7 And the cow and the bear shall feed;
their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall
eat straw like the ox.
8 And the sucking child shall play on
the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand
on the cockatrice' den.
9 They shall not hurt nor destroy in
all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the
knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.
10 And in that day there shall be a
root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the
people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be
glorious.
11 And it shall come to pass in that
day, that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time
to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left,
from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from
Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and
from the islands of the sea.
12 And he shall set up an ensign for
the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and
gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners
of the earth.
13 The envy also of Ephraim shall
depart, and the adversaries of Judah shall be cut off:
Ephraim shall not envy Judah, and Judah shall not vex
Ephraim.
14 But they shall fly upon the
shoulders of the Philistines toward the west; they shall
spoil them of the east together: they shall lay their hand
upon Edom and Moab; and the children of Ammon shall obey
them.
15 And the LORD shall utterly destroy
the tongue of the Egyptian sea; and with his mighty wind
shall he shake his hand over the river, and shall smite it
in the seven streams, and make men go over dryshod.
16 And there shall be an highway for
the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from
Assyria; like as it was to Israel in the day that he came up
out of the land of Egypt.

James 3:14-16
14 But if ye have bitter envying and
strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the
truth.
15 This wisdom descendeth not from
above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.
16 For where envying and strife is,
there is confusion and every evil work.

greater the increment it gains, like interest on a loan.

Only God has the true ability to
judge. He gave this power to His Son, Jesus.
Matt 7:1-5
1 Judge not, that ye be not judged.
2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye
shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be
measured to you again.
3 And why beholdest thou the mote that
is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that
is in thine own eye?
4 Or how wilt thou say to thy brother,
Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a
beam is in thine own eye?
5 Thou hypocrite, first cast out the
beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly
to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.

John 8:7
So when they continued asking him, he
lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without
sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.
KJV
Galatians 6:7
Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for
whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
KJV
Luke 6:37-38
37 Judge not, and ye shall not be
judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive,
and ye shall be forgiven:
38 Give, and it shall be given unto
you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and
running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the
same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you
again. KJV
Rom 2:1-4
1 Therefore thou art inexcusable, O
man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou
judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that
judgest doest the same things.
2 But we are sure that the judgment of
God is according to truth against them which commit such
things.
3 And thinkest thou this, O man, that
judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that
thou shalt escape the judgment of God?
4 Or despisest thou the riches of his
goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that
the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?
KJV
Rom 14:3-4
3 Let not him that eateth despise him
that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him
that eateth: for God hath received him.
4 Who art thou that judgest another
man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth.
Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him
stand. KJV
Rom 14:10-13
10 But why dost thou judge thy brother?
or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all
stand before the judgment seat of Christ.
11 For it is written, As I live, saith
the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall
confess to God.
12 So then every one of us shall give
account of himself to God.
13 Let us not therefore judge one
another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a
stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother's way.
KJV
1 Cor 4:3-5
3 But with me it is a very small thing
that I should be judged of you, or of man's judgment: yea, I
judge not mine own self.
4 For I know nothing by myself; yet am
I not hereby justified: but he that judgeth me is the Lord.
5 Therefore judge nothing before the
time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the
hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the
counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise
of God. KJV
James 4:11-12
11 Speak not evil one of another,
brethren. He that speaketh evil of his brother, and judgeth
his brother, speaketh evil of the law, and judgeth the law:
but if thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law,
but a judge.
12 There is one lawgiver, who is able
to save and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another?
KJV
Many times judgments can also come from
or are expectancies.
Acts 8:20-24
20 But Peter said unto him, Thy money
perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of
God may be purchased with money.
21 Thou hast neither part nor lot in
this matter: for thy heart is not right in the sight of God.
22 Repent therefore of this thy
wickedness, and pray God, if perhaps the thought of thine
heart may be forgiven thee.
23 For I perceive that thou art in the
gall of bitterness, and in the bond of iniquity.
24 Then answered Simon, and said, Pray
ye to the Lord for me, that none of these things which ye
have spoken come upon me.
