PREFACE

Dear reader:

Christian greetings, and God's grace be with you. An explanation of the conventions that I have employed in writing this study of the Book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ, seems necessary. You will notice that I have chosen to capitalize all references, direct and indirect to the Lord God and to Jesus Christ and to the Holy Spirit, and to God's Throne. Such being the case, I have refused to capitalize any references to satan, as he is not worthy of such acclaim. I don't care if his name is a personal name or begins a sentence or paragraph.

All Scriptural references in this study are from the King James Version of the Holy Bible, unless specified otherwise. Also, in my heart, I am comforted to believe that God has thusly enlightened me concerning this great Book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ. Even after typing and re-typing it many times, the witness of the Holy Spirit remains with my spirit, for which I praise the Lord, in Whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. Even so, I am sure that Paul's statement applies to this present work and my understanding of it. "If any man think that he knoweth anything, he knoweth nothing yet as he ought to know." None the less, we can rejoice in what He does give us. Romans 15:4. "For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope."

I am sure that God will bless you in studying, and in that form, hearing the words of the book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ. That is promised in Revelation 1:3. Therefore, though there are terrifying events described in the Book, it is not God's intention to merely frighten us with the revelation of those things. The Book is written for learning and blessing for all those who believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. May God's grace and mercy be with you.
