Our most important priority is worship. As priestly
people, our first obligation is to minister unto the Lord.
It is that we, as His people, enter His presence, offering
our love and appreciation, recognizing the Lordship of
Jesus, and allowing the Holy Spirit to lead and enable us
to fully commit our lives to the Father's will. We love to
come together to worship and sing praises in His Holy
presence.
The Lord Jesus gave us a command to love. This compels
us to give our love to all, to help the poor, the hungry
the brokenhearted, the sick, the lonely, and the
forgotten; by this love, we express the love we have
received. We, as a ministry, want to make this love alive
in our community. Sharing our love, we then share Christ
according to 1 Corinthians 13.
We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God
given to us, that all scripture is God-breathed and is
useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in
righteousness. The Scriptures reveal God, His true nature,
His attributes, and His characteristics. God wants to
reveal to man His plan for salvation, to reveal His Son,
and show how we can be more like Him. this is why we give
great place to the study and teaching of God's Word.
We believe that prayer can change the world. "I
urge then, first of all, that requests, prayers,
intercession, and thanksgiving be made of everyone, for
kings and all those in authority, that we may live
peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.
This is good, and pleases God our Savior." 1Timothy
2:1-3
We are the kingdom of God in this life, knitted
together as one body, Christ being the head. We are
believers going forth, raiding the camps of Satan, freeing
men and women from darkness and the chains that bind them.
We are the body of Christ united to accomplish God's will.
Our priority is to do the will of God above our own
desires. The power of Christ is in the movement of His
body. We all have individual gifts and functions, but
disunity cripples the body.
The reality of Jesus in our lives compels us to share
this new life with others. We answer the call of Christ's
great commission to share the gospel to the ends of the
earth. Though evangelism is done in large rallies, it
really starts at home, at work, at play, with Jesus
encouraging and training. This reality of Jesus is our
occupation so all will know of His generous gift or
eternal life.
Come share with us as brothers and sisters, let us
enjoy the gathering of God's family.
